History of the Wisconsin Club

Directions:

Located at 900 West Wisconsin Avenue (between 9th and 10th Streets), there’s always something exciting happening at the Wisconsin Club. The Club just under went a remodel and was finished in early fall 2008.

Here is the easiest way to get to the Club.

From the North: From I-43 South, take the 11th Street/Highland Avenue exit, continue on 11th Street to Wisconsin Ave., turn turn left on Wisconsin Ave. to 10th Street, turn Left onto 10th Street to the Club Entrance.

From the West: Take I-794 Eastbound to the James Lovell Street/St. Paul Ramp, turn Left onto West Wisconsin Avenue, turn Right onto 10th Street to the Club Entrance.

From the South: From I-43 North, take the Michigan/10th Street exit, continue onto North 10th Street to the Club Entrance.

Central Location and Courtesy Parking: Our central location along the Milwaukee River at Wisconsin and Water Streets makes John Hawks Pub a convenient choice. Complementary indoor parking enables our guests to take the elevator from their cars directly to the restaurant. Parking is available weekdays after 5 PM and all day weekends and holidays.

From the North: Take I-43 SOUTH to Exit 72C WELLS ST. to CIVIC CENTER / Bear right on ramp and continue to stoplight at Wells St. intersection / Cross Wells St. and head South 1 block to WISCONSIN AVE. / Turn left on W. Wisconsin Ave. and follow for approximately 1 mile / John Hawks pub is located on the east side of the Milwaukee River on the northwest corner of E. Wisconsin Ave and Water St. / Turn left at Water St. and go north about 1/2 a block to parking.

From the South: Take I-94 West towards Milwaukee / Go until the I-794 EAST exit, exit number 310C / Merge onto I-794 E / Take the PLANKINTON AVE exit, exit number 1D / Keep LEFT at the fork in the ram. / Merge onto N PLANKINTON AVE. / Turn RIGHT onto W WISCONSIN AVE. / John Hawks pub is located on the east side of the Milwaukee River on the northwest corner of E. Wisconsin Ave and Water St. / Turn left at Water St. and go north about 1/2 a block to parking.

From the West: Take I-94 East into Milwaukee until the I-43 NORTH/I-794 EAST exit, exit number 310B, on the left towards GREEN BAY. / Merge onto I-794 EAST RAMP / Take the exit, exit number 1H, towards CIVIC CENTER/7TH STREET / Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp / Turn LEFT onto N 6TH ST / Turn RIGHT onto W WISCONSIN AVE / Continue east on W. Wisconsin Ave. / John Hawks pub is located on the east side of the Milwaukee River on the northwest corner of E. Wisconsin Ave and Water St. / Turn left at Water St. and go north about 1/2 a block to parking.
